Does part of your role or those you supervise involve financial analysis? In today's fast-paced corporate world, financial analysis can mean many things. Powerful Financial Analysis will cover the key facets of a financial analysis within an organization and help individuals further their career by providing meaningful information to those around them. This seminar is intended for accountants working within companies rather than public practitioners.
Topics covered include month-end, quarter-end, and year-end analysis, budget analysis variance analysis, overall financial statement analysis, including using tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI) to enhance analysis. Analysts will also learn about the type of information that their internal clients need and how to provide this information effectively and efficiently.
It should be noted that AI and BI tools are constantly evolving and therefore the seminar strives to provide skills to keep current in the field but does not endorse nor train on any specific software. If particular software tools are presented, they are done so to provide participants with the knowledge they require to make informed decisions.

Workshop format

This workshop is highly interactive. Participants will deal with exercises to learn through doing. It is highly recommended that participants bring a calculator with them to obtain maximum benefit.
